These areas represent regions commonly assessed during regenerative medicine consultations. Evaluation findings, individual health history, and clinical judgment determine whether any therapy is appropriate. Not all individuals are candidates for stem cell or regenerative therapies.
All treatment decisions are made solely by a licensed physician following individual medical evaluation. These therapies are not FDA-approved for most indications and are offered at physician discretion.

Patient stories
I attribute a great deal of the fact that I'm 43 and really do feel like I did, possibly better than I did, when I was 18 years old to the idea of continual rejuvenation with protocols like this. Stem cell therapy is an incredible thing.
My knees are actually feeling good now! I can push more and I’m getting stronger again. If you’re sitting on the fence about getting stem cells, I would tell you to do it. It’s worth it.
I was having chronic shoulder stuff… It took a couple of weeks, but it literally just stopped hurting. It just became a non-issue, something that had been bothering me for several years. My low back feels great, I'm more flexible than I was. It was a pretty meaningful treatment.
I had a very athletic lifestyle, I was competing, and I had worn everything down to the nub… As the months went on I saw improvements. I tell everybody about Dr. Adelson and Dr. Killen.
Before the treatment it was a steady downswing from prior injuries that over time slowed me down more and more… Afterwards, for the first time in a long time, I was pain-free.

Good Questions
No. While regenerative medicine shows promise in a growing body of scientific data, it has not been scientifically proven to be effective. We are careful to only treat patients we think we have a chance of helping. Many people are helped, but not everyone is.
You can expect to be sore for a few days after the procedure. Infection is a serious risk, but it is extremely rare. The biggest risk is that a treatment won't help your condition.
No. Regenerative medicine is considered elective, and insurance generally does not pay for these injections. Treatment is cash-pay, but HSA/FSA can be used.
If you'd like to be. Procedures can be performed under deep sedation provided by a board-certified anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist, the same type of sedation used for colonoscopies. You're asleep, you don't feel anything, and you won't remember the procedure. Sedation is included in the cost of treatment.
Expect localized soreness and discomfort, especially after disc, hand, foot and shoulder injections. Most patients find over-the-counter medication and rest are enough.
No treatment is permanent. In Dr. Adelson's experience, a year after treatment a sizable portion of patients are happy with their outcome, some have improved and choose a second treatment, and a small portion see no improvement. Most people need a tune-up procedure every two to six years.
